Red x Chuck : Under a vampires fangs : prologue

It was nightfall on bird island and everything was still and quiet, the moon and the stars brought light above the sky as every other night, the sea was the most standing out and interesting thing in the landscape. At the beach life is different, time doesn't move hour to hour it just stays and moves to creates currents and waves as they splash upon the sandy shore. As in day time there light, fun and joy and everyone enjoying each other company but at night its just peaceful and calm as everyone sleeps and dreams of a different world and waiting for their chance to do what their heart tells them to do but for one bird dreaming isn't possible and red happened to be one of them. He was still awake and couldn't sleep, he was thinking about the whole fight with the pigs and how he defeated Leonard, their king, but still inside of him was eying for the truth was he still alive?. Since the explosion of the whole kingdom red was lucky to be alive but got a-few minor injuries and healed, also Chuck and Bomb were there when he was at the doctors offices and the doctor said he was fine, to be fair his friends started to worry about him and they were concerned that he wasn't paying attention that much to them. Red was a hero to the birds for saving the eggs but "hero" wasn't the calling of word for him, he never thought of becoming one but it felt right for him to do what he had to do and he knew what the pigs were up to and was force lead everyone and save their children. He was laying on a rock, thinking about everything how his life began from childhood to adulthood and arranging pieces of his memories that just happened to him, he had no parents, he was bullied and made fun of when he was a kid, had no friends, he was alone. But now he isn't thank to Bomb and Chuck, he finally has friends and they were there with him on the journey to find Mighty Eagle and fight the pigs, the community respected him and has a new house which he was thankful for. Red didn't notice that Chuck and Bomb were right behind him."You see Bomb he's been like this since he moved to his new house, do you think he's home sick from the old one?" Chuck said questionably. "I don't know Chuck, maybe Red just miss being at the beach, he hasn't been here for 3 or 4 weeks since the pigs stole the eggs" said Bomb. Chuck was the most worried out of him to the black bird, he knew something was up with Red but he just didn't know what it was, maybe it was the house or what Bomb said about him missing the beach. He took a deep breath and was about to speak but he held back, a little nerves to ask Red because he gets easy mad at everything that Chuck does that annoying, would a question annoy him?, he didn't want to bother him but he just had to get it off his mind. "Red?". Chuck spoke softly, Red turns around to notice the two birds behind him and stares at the goldfinch who just spoke. "Are you okay you've been siting here for awhile, is something bothering you?" Red was surprise to here Chuck ask him, he looked a little worried but spoke back. "Don't you guys wonder if the pigs will ever come back for revenge" both the yellow and black birds turned at each other, a little confuse but finally got the question. "Of course but we defeated them so badly, how could they come back and all we know is that Leonard is gone" said Bomb. "I know, but I just have some feeling that its not over, I mean..." Red sighed, not only he was confronting his friends for the question, he felt stupid for even trying but suddenly Chuck came up to him siting beside him on the rock that he was siting on. "Hey, if it is true but I'm not saying it is, were gonna be here if that happens, okay?". with chuck supportive words, red finally relaxed and nod to him as if say yes. "Yeah chuck's right, were right here for you, no mater what" said bomb. "besides now that Bomb knows how to explode now, he can blow them up out of here". Soon Bomb herd what Chuck said and got embarrass and nervous at the same time. "Whoa there buddy, lets not be hasty about that, remember I'm still trying to control it you know". "Oh come on, I saw the look on your face when you destroyed the airplane base, you were actually happy about it and now your telling me that you don't want to explode, Red help a friend out". While herring the conversation that they were having, Red began to laugh at them and trying his best not to laugh too hard but he couldn't help himself. His friend started to notice, they Haven't seen Red laugh in a while, it was good to see him smiling again. "Ohhhh, what that I see, a smile?!" Chuck grind as he saw him laughing as he finally stop, Red was a little embarrassed but couldn't get that goofy look of his face. "Come on chuck really?". "Yes really, at lest your finally smiling and i haven't seen you this happy since a week ago" the goldfinch shockingly said, it was true. Red smirked but with that, there was something about this bird, he was always positive and never let things get to him, but what he may not know about him might just change everything and the same goes to Chuck. Red was a very interesting bird, he was very compassionate and love to make art and has a little bit of an anger problem but he had a heart and he never let anyone in. Chuck's heart seem to flutter when ever he looked at him, his eyes were a beautiful golden hazelnut brown, there were just so pure and full of depth. Wait, why was he thinking like this. "Well, I think its time that we get back home, its the middle of night and we need to get some rest for tomorrow" Bomb interrupted. Chuck stared to fake yawn. "Yeah, I think Bomb's right, we should get going, we don't to be late for tomorrow or else, ha ha..." Why was he acting like this?, Chuck never been like this before, he started to move a little and was shaky. Red stared to wonder what made the finch so jumpy but he let it slide, Chuck was always like this, he was the most fastest bird on the island. "Alright lets call it a night" Red agreed, hopefully he can get some sleep tonight. "Oh, and guys" they both turn. "thanks for cheering me up" They both happy hugged him, and it was a tight one, Red couldn't breath but at lest it wasn't a Mighty Eagle's hug, thats for sure. He accepted it and the three of them went back home together to get some shuteye for tomorrow but what they didn't know that someone in the darkness is always watching.......
